About the role

  • Being a leader in driving the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally.
  • Possessing charisma, energy and finesse to be a leader in driving the Enterprise Security agenda internally and externally
  • Being adaptive, creative and resourceful, with a desire to operate in a start-up, undefined and matrix mode
  • Demonstrating Enterprise Domain Expertise - Infrastructure, applications, networking or security background(s) in selling to senior executives

Requirements

  • Have a proven track record of creating interest and pipeline within new or existing accounts
  • Be able to understand why customers have brought from Akamai and articulate these in anecdotes or case-studies
  • Demonstrate experience working with multiple teams including Sales, SE, Customer Success, Renewals and Customer Advocacy
  • Have experience leading teams within a matrixed organization
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Have the following experience: Cybersecurity including WAF and API Security, Zero trust technologies such as SASE and Micro Segmentation (ex. Cisco Tetration, VMware NSX), Firewall.
