About the role
- Selling the entire Akamai Portfolio to both new & existing customers
- Maximizing revenue and bookings generation within assigned territory
- Articulating Akamai's value proposition throughout the organization
- Understanding customers' business challenges
- Developing a strategic sales plan
- Working with aligned sales engineers and services teams
- Managing contract negotiations
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 8 years sales experience in B2B technology sales and a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent
- Demonstrate successful sales experience in managed services and solutions sales
- Have knowledge of the technology needs of smart devices, social media and gaming verticals
- Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Cloud Service Providers, Security and Networking technology domains
- Show high ethics, integrity, and personal willpower
