About the role

  • Conducting manual and automated UI testing utilising tools such as Playwright (JavaScript).
  • Testing REST APIs using Postman while writing SQL queries for accurate data validation
  • Logging and managing defects via JIRA; maintaining documentation within Confluence.
  • Collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams while supporting CI/CD workflows using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Demonstrating exceptional debugging skills, keen attention to detail, and eagerness to learn new tools.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate 12 of software testing experience with web applications and a Bachelor's in relevant field.
  • Have hands-on experience in UI testing (manual and automated).
  • Utilise test automation tools; experience with Playwright using JavaScript is highly advantageous.
  • Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
  • Have good working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Postgres and tools like SQL Developer.
  • Be familiar with defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA and Confluence.
