Provide transportation services of all modes to a Global Key account, including quoting, commencement, procurement, dispatch, and invoicing
Act as the primary contact for designated customers and manage assigned projects end-to-end (quoting, customer service, tracking, routing, problem resolution, vendor compliance, invoicing, quality management)
Track and trace shipments on a daily basis and manage overhead shipments
Maintain notes and correct status codes in AIT systems for all assigned shipments
Provide thorough turnover to customer service teammates to ensure coverage during nights and weekends
Quote and route freight across multiple transportation modes and services (domestic & international)
Answer phone calls and respond to all e-mails in a timely manner
Manage daily tracking worksheet for proactive communication and anomaly resolution
Assist local sales and other offices with freight issues
Collect, scan, and file all paperwork daily
Ensure adherence to customer and company SLA’s, KPI’s & SOP’s
Execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Contribute to a healthy and secure work environment by reporting unsafe/unsecure/unhealthy conditions and improvements.
Requirements
Associates Degree or equivalent
3-5 years of experience
Experience in international operations (mandatory)
Freight forwarding experience preferred
Special expertise and experience in international air operations
QMS compliance experience
Ocean service liaison experience
Report generation experience
Ability to execute Dangerous Goods shipments in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Ability to answer phone calls and respond to e-mails within 1 hour (mailbox time slot replies/action)
