About the role

  • Identify, qualify, and close new partnership opportunities across priority verticals
  • Own partner relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, activation, and ongoing management
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue through consistent activation and engagement
  • Build joint GTM plans with partners, including campaigns, events, and co-selling motions
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and executives within partner organizations
  • Work cross-functionally to solve partner challenges and deliver a seamless experience
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to support lead generation and brand-building initiatives

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, sales, or a related GTM role
  • Experience owning relationships and driving commercial outcomes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Experience using CRM and related tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo)
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or a high-growth startup environment (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating and structuring partnerships with commercial outcomes (preferred)
  • Exposure to complex or API-led partnerships (preferred)
  • Existing network in Canada within key verticals (ecommerce, tech, travel, professional services) (preferred)
  • Additional language skills (French is an asset) (preferred)
