Independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
Prepare tax returns and act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and external auditors.
Challenge existing accounting processes and digitize our workflows (e.g., implementation of new ERP modules).
Provide professional support and mentorship to junior colleagues on the team.

Requirements

Completed commercial vocational training with further qualification as a certified financial accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter), or a relevant degree with a focus on finance.
Several years (5+ years) of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a dynamic environment or at an audit firm.
In-depth knowledge of financial statement preparation and current tax law.
Confident use of common ERP systems (in particular DATEV or Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central) and very strong Excel skills.
