About the role

  • Assist technical teams and operations-preparation and support teams
  • Specify requirements at the system level and then at the tool level
  • Act as Work Package Manager for the scope assigned to you (ensure cost, schedule and quality targets are met)
  • Provide your expertise on projects in the proposal phase and/or in the implementation/delivery phase
  • Raise awareness among teams about considering operational and maintenance requirements during the design phase

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with a specialization in Telecommunications
  • 5 to 10 years' experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Significant experience using SATCOM operations center tools (ground segment) for civil and/or military applications, or in the design and delivery of such tools (ground/space segments)
  • Experience managing work packages
  • Knowledge of systems architecture engineering
  • Knowledge of operations and maintenance tools (specifications, functions, processes) for ground and/or space segments
  • Knowledge of SATCOM engineering
  • Autonomy, rigor and methodical approach
  • Leadership in a complex technical and industrial environment
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to persuade and motivate
