About the role
- Perform maintenance and inspections utilizing airframe and power plant (A&P) license outside of certified repair station (CRS).
- Perform advanced troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctioning systems and components.
- Conduct applicable airframe calendar/hourly inspections, hidden damage inspections, operational and functional checks.
- Responsible for ensuring physical security of aircraft.
- Participate in flight tests on aircraft.
- Perform track and balancing of rotor systems and vibration analysis.
- Conduct huddle meetings and assign maintenance tasks to technicians.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for Airbus customers.
- Update maintenance tracking program daily and ensure compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- FAA A&P License
- 8–12 years of rotary-wing experience
- Ability to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
- Minimum two (2) years of Leadership Experience and/or equivalent education classes
- Understanding and familiarity with the FAA regulations 14 CFR Parts 27, 29, 39, 43, 91, 135, and 145 processes.
- Must have complete understanding of the BK117 C2 with a high level of troubleshooting expertise on all aircraft systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form in English.
- Citizenship: US Person under ITAR definition required (FOR EXAMPLE: U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under existing ITAR license)
