About the role
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's global Data Governance and Privacy compliance programs
- Provide timely and clear legal advice on data lifecycle management
- Draft and negotiate all data-related agreements
- Regularly audit data processing activities and produce reports for senior management
- Implement and hold awareness session programs
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
- Act as a trusted in-house counsel to internal stakeholders
- Act as the primary local point of contact for all insurance matters
- Provide initial legal support and coordination for claims management
- Support the integration of risk mitigation strategies with corporate insurance policies
Requirements
- Master's degree (or equivalent qualification) in Law
- Spanish or German legal qualification
- Deep expertise in global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating commercial and technology contracts, ideally within the industrial sector
- Familiarity with corporate insurance (e.g., coverage types, claims process) or strong willingness and aptitude to build this expertise from scratch
- Fluent English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business acumen and excellent legal judgment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team
