About the role
- Lead and drive profitable revenue growth and margin performance across the Express Services (APEX) portfolio.
- Provide direct people leadership to a team of Account Managers, including mentor, performance management, talent development, and succession planning.
- Own and lead commercial contract negotiations within established authority levels, including pricing structures, commercial terms, renewals, and amendments.
- Ensure well-adapted account planning, opportunity management, and execution rigor across the sales organization.
- Build and maintain strong, senior‑level customer relationships while proactively handling service performance and issues.
- Partner closely with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to enable safe, reliable, and adaptable service execution.
- Reinforce Air Products’ safety culture, commercial governance standards, and compliance requirements in all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, or other significant commercial roles.
- Experience in industrial gases, refining, petrochemical, pipeline, or related industrial markets strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including mentor and performance management.
- Strong commercial skill with consistent record to negotiate sophisticated agreements.
