About the role
- Provide legal support and counsel to Air Methods regional operations and sales teams
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of Air Methods’ contracting process
- Develop and maintain standard contract templates and forms
- Assist senior legal team members with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating more complex agreements
- Assist with general litigation and compliance matters as needed
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements
- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- 2-5 years’ transactional experience in a law firm or in-house position, including experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
- Working knowledge of HIPAA rules and regulations preferred
- Experience in the healthcare or aviation industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
