About the role
- Lead exploratory interviews, discovery sessions, and workshops with agency representatives to document current workflows and identify shortcomings.
- Identify key stakeholders and document their perspectives on the current intake process.
- Contribute to the development of a revised intake process by reconciling current and proposed workflows and identifying issues and benefits from the user's perspective.
- Develop key metrics associated with measuring the prototype's efficacy and document findings for transparency to the State.
- Partner with stakeholders at all levels within MDCPS to ensure understanding, participation, and support throughout the project.
- Provide bi-weekly status reports and monthly summary reports to maintain consistent communication with the State.
- Organize and facilitate conference room demonstrations for key stakeholders, document feedback, and ensure the application's major functionality is presented and understood.
- Contribute to the development of a technology roadmap illustrating how the developed solution could be integrated into the State's existing ecosystem.
- Draft, review, revise, and submit a comprehensive final project report incorporating feedback from State officials.
- Provide scrum leadership and create Agile process documentation as agreed upon with State representatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in a business analyst role supporting state, local, or corporate clients.
- Proven expertise delivering CCWIS solutions, including intake processes, call center operations, and case actioning.
- Working experience in the design, configuration, and delivery of at least 2 COTS CCWIS systems, including systems by RedMane Technology.
- Demonstrated ability to advance strategy and devise tactics to achieve incremental goals.
- Skilled at conducting workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions.
- Ability to map workflows, analyze business outcomes, and devise improvements that reduce labor and cost while improving outcomes through technological tools.
- Proven collaboration with technical team members.
- Demonstrated success using Agile methods to manage complex developments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience identifying and engaging key stakeholders at all levels to build support.
- Ability to interpret high-level requirements and convert them into actionable tasks.
- Skill in managing scope, project risk, and delivering measurable results.
- Ability to create clear, professional documentation.
