About the role

  • Lead a technical team or be a senior individual contributor responsible for product development cycle
  • Collaborate with business owners and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements
  • Develop integrated digital, data, technical, and operating plan
  • Define front-to-back stack for Digital product portfolio
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance across multiple projects
  • Develop new or enhance existing applications using AIG’s proprietary Angular framework and Spring boot-based RESTful APIs
  • Write and maintain high-quality, reusable code
  • Create robust unit tests
  • Manage third-party vendor resources and AIG employees as a unified team
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent proven experience in technology roles
  • 10+ years of experience in Product / Application Development, with end-to-end product leadership
  • Proficient in front-end development, with experience using Angular or similar frameworks
  • Proficient in developing solutions within a microservices architecture using Spring Boot or similar technologies
  • Hands-on experience writing services that interact with relational and NoSQL databases
  • Proficient at working with cloud-native technologies such as, AWS Lambda, and API Gateways
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD best practices
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and various security protocols
