About the role

  • Advise clients on plant nutrition and soil sciences to optimise yield and quality
  • Provide technical recommendations to customers based on various analyses
  • Identify and implement business opportunities to grow and expand Agri Technovation’s market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers through regular on-site visits to secure repeat business
  • Establish and position yourself as a strategic and trusted partner
  • Marketing and selling products and services
  • Having knowledge of Variable Rate applications of product portfolio
  • Preparing and presenting technical presentations to clients and industry stakeholders
  • Gaining extensive knowledge relating to the use and application of the company’s products
  • Participating in industry associations, trade shows, and conferences
  • Actively partaking in R&D initiatives (including field trials) to facilitate continuous product improvement
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments
  • Compiling sales budgets and meeting sales budget
  • Managing/facilitating large projects
  • Maintaining financial and personal administrative records within required timelines
  • Mentoring entry-level agriculturists
  • Facilitating various internal/external functions and training sessions

Requirements

  • BS or AS Agronomy or Ag-related degree
  • Established Agriculture grower customers base
  • Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) or Pest Control Advisor (PCA)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in plant health or nutrition
