About the role
- Deliver advanced on-site support including installation, implementation, optimization, maintenance and repair of GC, GC-MS systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system, method, hardware and software issues
- Act as a technical authority for customers, advising on best practices, preventive maintenance and system configurations
- Proactively identify potential risks and performance limitations before they impact customer operations
- Execute integrated system solutions involving hardware, software, networking and peripherals
- Serve as an internal escalation point for challenging technical cases
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure full compliance with Agilent quality and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or a related scientific discipline
- Solid practical experience with GC and GC-MS chromatography
- Proven ability to work independently in laboratory environments
- Clear, confident communication skills—both verbal and written
- Fluency in Swedish and English
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel
