About the role
- Conducting market research to identify potential business opportunities, gaps, analyzing market trends, and assessing the competitive landscape
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to expand market share, increase revenue, and maximize the potential of the Agilent’s portfolio
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing customized solutions
- Identifying and negotiating strategic partnerships with other companies or organizations
- Creating persuasive, creative proposals and presentations that highlight the company's products or services
- Working closely with various internal teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business development initiatives
- Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), generating reports on solution effectiveness, and refining strategies based on performance data
- Establishing collaborative network with collaborators, Key Opinion Leaders in the region
- Leading cross-functional teams to execute market development initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives
Requirements
- Master’s Degree (> 8 years of experience) or Ph.D. (> 5 years of experience)
- Deep market understanding in Pharma (incl. CDMOs) in South Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea
- Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies
- Excellent communication, product positioning, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Solid understanding of the pharma industry in the territory, including market trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive landscape
- Rich knowledge on the chemistry analytical (liquid, gas chromatography and spectroscopy) platforms
- Knowledge in cell analysis, genomics, automation, lab informatics will be an added advantage
- Strong experience on KOL customer interaction and collaboration
