About the role
- Selling service contracts to assigned accounts in Central-Italy
- Managing a Sales Territory with full accountability
- Maintaining and developing existing contracts
- Generating new business to reach financial targets (monthly, quarterly and yearly)
- Managing installed base inventory and service contracts to ensure optimal service levels and seamless contract setup
- Developing and implementing strategic account plans to drive growth by designing tailored service solutions
- Providing accurate business forecasts for the territory and taking full ownership of delivering results
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term customer relationships while actively developing new connections to expand market presence
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field, or equivalent professional experience
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in laboratory product sales, ideally within Agilent’s markets
- Strong negotiation skills across all organizational levels, including occasional engagement with C-suite executives
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset
- Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key internal and external partners
- Mother-tongue Italian, B2/C1 level in English is a must
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with leading CRM systems is an advantage
- Valid driving license
