About the role
- Responsible for selling a comprehensive portfolio of services
- Developing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintaining and expanding existing contracts
- Identifying potential business opportunities
- Continuously monitoring contract fulfillment
- Designing creative solutions to meet customer requirements
- Generating new business opportunities and identifying sales leads
- Collaborating closely with the local field service organization and other members of the service sales team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
- Ideally 1–2+ years of sales experience with demonstrable success in markets served by Agilent or in Enterprise Services
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and chemical analysis industries is an advantage
- Motivated to structure your working day from a home office
- Willingness to spend approximately 30% of your time in the field advising customers
- Networking skills to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, and ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong presentation, planning, and organizational skills
- Confident user of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other IT systems
