About the role

  • Responsible for selling a comprehensive portfolio of services, including enterprise-wide concepts to improve laboratory productivity
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Manage and further develop existing contracts
  • Develop creative solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Generate new business opportunities and identify sales prospects
  • Work closely with the local Field Service organization, instrument sales teams, and other members of the service sales team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
  • Ideally 1–2+ years of sales experience with proven success in Agilent’s markets or in enterprise services
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical, biopharma, and chemical analysis industries is an advantage
  • Motivation to structure daily work from a home office
  • Willingness to spend approximately 30% of time in the field advising our customers
  • Networking skills to integrate customer priorities and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English, and the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent presentation, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other IT systems
