About the role
- Meet sales objectives by driving remote sales opportunities (through inbound and outbound calls, emails, chats, virtual meetings…) with existing customers and new prospects
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations with procurement, laboratory managers and end users to drive customer’s needs and interest to the Agilent services portfolio
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in their territory to grow the existing customer base
- Proactively collaborate with field service and internal sales teams to drive a differentiated customer experience
- Provide quotes, understand customer needs, and proactively act to meet those needs
- Provide accurate forecast sales and maintain CRM up to date
Requirements
- Experience working in the life science industry, with Bachelor’s degree in Science considered a plus
- Proficient sales development experience, ideally in the life science industry with a passion for a career in sales
- Native German skills and highly proficient in English
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with many external and internal partners
- Good time management and territory organizational skills with demonstrated experience working via digital tools for inside sales (phone, chat, social media, TEAMS, etc.)
- Strong sales prospecting and negotiation skills
- On a personal level, you are creative, customer focused and tend to challenge the status-quo. You are flexible and adaptable, show a real can-do demeanour and are motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, international team environment. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team.
