The role is a DevOps Engineer to join a newly formed team. You will design and implement infrastructure-as-code, container orchestration, and deployment automations that power critical services. Day to day, you’ll craft cloud-native build, test, and release workflows that support goals for CI/CD automation, infrastructure, deployments, and security/compliance, embedding controls by default so teams can focus on shipping features.
You’ll collaborate across the stack, contributing scripts, services, and documentation to shared repositories, while leveraging AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to accelerate delivery—always reviewing outputs for quality and security.
Working closely with product, design, and engineering teammates, you’ll ensure DevSecOps work is visible in user stories and prioritized in the backlog.
As the ecosystem evolves, you’ll continuously experiment with emerging cloud, AI, and automation technologies to keep systems resilient and developer-friendly.

8+ years as a software engineer with a primary focus on DevSecOps automation.
If you have a Bachelor's degree, at least 4 years of experience are required. If you have a different degree (e.g., Associate’s or Master’s), let us know and we’ll adjust the experience requirement accordingly.
Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS services and networking.
Proven use of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and orchestration tech (Kubernetes/EKS, Docker).
Deep understanding of DevOps best practices—CI/CD, automated testing, pipeline monitoring, and cultural evangelism.
Solid track record working on Agile teams and within open-source, collaborative environments.
Familiarity with AI tools/services and a willingness to apply them responsibly for better outcomes.
Has lived and worked in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years; able to travel occasionally if required.
