About the role

  • Engage with banking partners to gather technical documentation and API credentials.
  • Map banking capabilities to the SaaS platform's needs.
  • Build and configure bank connections using established banking protocols (EBICS, EDITRAN, SWIFT, AFTs, etc)
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations (e.g., PSD2, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.) and industry standards.
  • Conduct integration testing (Unit tests) with banks and internal QA teams, and support user acceptance testing when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, authentication, or data transformation issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of all bank connections and workflows.
  • Provide ongoing support for connection issues, bank upgrades, and platform enhancements.
  • Liaise between engineering, onboarding team, and banking partners.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for bank connectivity topics in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Ideally a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Data or any other related field.
  • Fluent in English, with additional working proficiency in German.
  • 1-2 years of experience in client centric roles ideally in a banking/finance/SaaS environment. Familiarity with banking protocols or implementation of a TMS is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Python is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to work with a variety of teams (customer success, sales, product, marketing etc.).
