About the role
- Perform a variety of accounting functions in our insurance business
- Support the preparation of financial statements under local GAAP in an accurate and timely manner for portfolio of clients
- Assist with reconciling and posting insurance transitions
- Help track and post claim activity
- Support investment portfolio tracking and reporting
- Assist in preparing materials for annual audits and regulatory fillings
- Maintain client contact as needed
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- 0-2 years of captive insurance experience or insurance accounting experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrates organizational and time management skills
- Detail Oriented
- Excellent problem-solving skills
