About the role
- DOXA is an award-winning specialty insurance platform providing centralized sales, marketing, underwriting, and operational support to specialty insurance programs
- Investigate and negotiate the resolution of Marine Claims (MGL/P&I/Hull/Boat Dealers/Contractors, etc.)
- Assist clients with timely reporting of marine claims, including complex and catastrophe claims
- Manage client assets to assure prompt recovery of amounts ceded to insurers
- Assist clients with year-end collateral funding needs in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Potential to work with litigation management and both coverage and defense counsel
Requirements
- Must have experience with Marine General Liability (MGL)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent years of relevant insurance or reinsurance experience
- 3+ years of industry experience. Property and Marine GL experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal business communication skills and the ability to work with internal and external customers
- Maintain and/or secure required state adjuster licenses in states which claims handled
- Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Google office tools
