About the role
- Lead and manage all construction activities for renewable energy projects (thermal, BESS, wind, solar, hybrid) from mobilization through to commissioning
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and resource allocations to meet project milestones
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations and company policies
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions proactively
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to maintain positive relationships and ensure project requirements are met
- Prepare and present regular construction reports, including progress updates, forecasts, and risk assessments
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize construction processes and reduce costs
Requirements
- Proven experience (typically 5+ years) at a Construction Manager level or similar role in renewable energy projects, specifically in thermal, BESS, wind, solar, and hybrid systems
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices related to renewable energy infrastructure
- A hands-on and practical leader with extensive experience managing complex construction projects
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or related fields preferred
