Accountant

• Oversee record keeping and general ledger maintenance, including reviewing the accuracy of sales invoices, incoming payments, supplier statements.
• Monthly journal entries to the accounting system with a focus on accuracy and compliance and account reconciliations to ensure integrity of financial data.
• Month and quarter end close, preparation of respect.
• Produce monthly and quarterly financial statements and lead the month end close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance to Project requirements.
• Prepare year-end audit working papers and liaison with external auditors.
• Compile tax schedules and coordinate with external tax advisors for the preparation and filing of corporate tax returns.
• Working in a cohesive team, mentor and guide junior staff.
• Other duties as required
