About the role

  • Administration, maintenance and further development of radiology IT systems – in particular PACS and RIS
  • Management of interfaces to hospital information systems (HIS) and to medical devices
  • Ensuring availability and security of systems within the radiology environment
  • Support for the introduction of new software solutions and medical applications
  • User support and conducting training on radiology IT systems
  • Close collaboration with external service providers, manufacturers and internal departments
  • Documentation and maintenance of the existing system landscape
  • Performing constancy checks of reporting monitors as part of teleradiology

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in IT, medical informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in system administration – ideally in a medical environment
  • Knowledge of operating and supporting PACS and RIS systems
  • Experience with HL7, DICOM and interface management
  • Independent and service-oriented working style
  • Willingness to take on responsibility as part of on-call duties
  • Friendly, open and authentic manner combined with expertise and initiative
  • Clear communication, confident conflict management and competent, solution-oriented advising of colleagues
