About the role
- Prepare regulatory filings, conduct routine audits, and organize documentation for legal reviews
- Collaborate with attorneys and business leaders to support compliance initiatives and respond to regulatory inquiries
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Conduct research and stay updated on relevant state licensure legislation and laws and industry trends
Requirements
- 3-5 years of compliance experience, preferably in an in-house or corporate setting
- Strong understanding of compliance program elements
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive in identifying risks and offering actionable solutions
- Ability to treat sensitive information with the highest degree of confidentiality
- Demonstrated experience managing compliance projects and processes
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Energetic, proactive, self-starter who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Impeccable professional ethics, integrity, and judgment
- Willingness and ability to travel (10%-20%)
