About the role
- Field-based role with travel requirements
- Relationship management and personal account management of our existing customers
- Acquisition of new customers
- Onboarding/implementation of new customers in collaboration with the managers
- Process & Quality sales
- Upselling and cross-selling of AER products and airline products
- Revenue growth and profitability improvement at the customer level
- Increase customer satisfaction and optimize quality
- Customer training
- Close collaboration with the Commercial Support team, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance and other company departments
- Create commercial materials in collaboration with Marketing
- Ongoing reporting of customer activities in the CRM
- Contribute to projects
- Attend customer events
- Reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a travel agent or tourism specialist
- Several years of sales experience in the tourism or airline industry
- Strong service and results orientation
- Ability to work independently, in a structured and responsible manner
- Confident demeanor and strong presentation skills
- Experience working on projects
- Willingness to continually develop and improve your own area of work and the team’s
- Excellent Microsoft skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Strong ability to communicate and document complex matters clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
- High degree of initiative with the ability to work in a focused, prioritized manner
- Good English skills in addition to German are required
- Willingness to travel.
