About the role

  • Field-based role with travel requirements
  • Relationship management and personal account management of our existing customers
  • Acquisition of new customers
  • Onboarding/implementation of new customers in collaboration with the managers
  • Process & Quality sales
  • Upselling and cross-selling of AER products and airline products
  • Revenue growth and profitability improvement at the customer level
  • Increase customer satisfaction and optimize quality
  • Customer training
  • Close collaboration with the Commercial Support team, Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance and other company departments
  • Create commercial materials in collaboration with Marketing
  • Ongoing reporting of customer activities in the CRM
  • Contribute to projects
  • Attend customer events
  • Reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a travel agent or tourism specialist
  • Several years of sales experience in the tourism or airline industry
  • Strong service and results orientation
  • Ability to work independently, in a structured and responsible manner
  • Confident demeanor and strong presentation skills
  • Experience working on projects
  • Willingness to continually develop and improve your own area of work and the team’s
  • Excellent Microsoft skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong ability to communicate and document complex matters clearly to both internal and external stakeholders
  • High degree of initiative with the ability to work in a focused, prioritized manner
  • Good English skills in addition to German are required
  • Willingness to travel.
