• Own the full monthly and annual close process, driving toward a best-in-class close timeline
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements for board and investor reporting
• Manage intercompany transactions and consolidation across our US, UK, and Canadian entities
• Own revenue recognition for a mixed hardware and software business with recurring revenue
• Manage hardware COGS accounting including inventory, BOM costing, and depreciation schedules
• Evaluate, select, and implement a modern ERP and supporting finance tools (billing, AP automation, expense management)
• Build automated workflows to streamline close processes, reconciliations, and reporting
• Coordinate with external tax advisors for US federal/state, UK, Canadian, and transfer pricing compliance
• Manage debt facility reporting including draw tracking, covenant compliance, and interest calculations
• Establish and maintain internal controls appropriate for the company’s stage and growth trajectory
• Prepare for and support external audit readiness
• Prepare a month end close package including budget vs. actual commentary

Robotics

• Source top talent for AeroVect in a highly competitive market.
• Partner closely with AeroVect’s founders, engineering leaders, and principal recruiter to understand hiring objectives and align sourcing strategies.
• Consistently generate a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates
• Contribute to delivering a high-quality and holistic candidate experience.
• Use innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent (e.g. networking, events, marketing, etc.)

Senior Technical Recruiter, Robotics

Translator

• Identify and solve gaps in the current localization and mapping system that operates in mixed indoor and outdoor environments
• Implement, deploy, test and maintain new localization capabilities for the autonomous system
• Develop and maintain the sensors calibration across sensors, time, and vehicles
• Develop online validation and calibration tools
• Develop and maintain the topographical map of the operating environment
• Collaborate with our localization team and autonomy sub teams (planning, perception, infrastructure) to successfully deploy the autonomous system

Architect

• Work with the Head of Systems to:
• Drive the definition, evolution, verification, and deployment of dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous vehicle architecture in the airport driving environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on a cohesive strategy for architecture and integration
• Architect solutions for scalability and usability, ensuring robust performance in time- and safety- critical production operations
• Oversee E2E system integration, collaborating to identify and resolve architectural issues
• Lead design reviews and design trade-off analyses
• Help to:
• Translate key stakeholder needs into tiered system requirements
• Define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performance
• Support FMEA analyses and risk assessments
• Mentor engineers in system-level thinking and interface design
