• Own the data infrastructure and cloud systems powering AeroVect's autonomous driving platform
• Design and scale pipelines moving operational data from real-world deployments into development, testing, and continuous-improvement systems

• Architect and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for scalable computation, data processing, and system telemetry

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, implement, and iterate on the mission planner, behavior planner, and motion planner for autonomous ground support equipment operating in airport airside environments.
• Drive key technical decisions across the planning stack — selecting algorithms, defining interfaces, and establishing the architecture that the team builds on.
• Prototype and evaluate new planning approaches (e.g., optimization-based methods, search-based planners, learning-augmented pipelines) and bring the best ideas to production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with perception, controls, localization, and systems engineering teams to deliver an integrated autonomous driving system.
• Establish and promote best practices in software development, functional safety, and systems engineering as they apply to the planning domain.
• Mentor other engineers through technical guidance, code review, and design discussions.

Staff Software Engineer, Motion Planning

Manager

• Own and drive the process to evaluate and approve deployments for defined Operational Design Domains (ODDs)
• Ensure that only the system and vehicles that have been verified, validated, and approved are deployed accordingly
• Support the bringup process for new AVs, from receipt to commissioning to first autonomous missions
• Own and drive the release process to evaluate and approve recurring SW updates, including gates, QA, etc.
• Partner with Engineering and Safety & Systems to verify that new software releases meet required criteria through simulation, closed course, shadow mode, and preliminary supervised testing before production rollout
• Schedule and execute software updates to the fleet, ensuring zero downtime during peak operational hours while maintaining 100% readiness for reversion protocols
• Define, document, and maintain the chosen configuration for every vehicle type (e.g., components, firmware versions, system parameters, connectivity settings, etc.)
• Own and drive the change management process and lead the board that reviews all requested changes from the chosen configuration (e.g., swapping a sensor)
• Maintain documentation of all changes with supporting artifacts in compliance with regulator and customer needs

• Partner closely with AeroVect’s founders, engineering leaders, and principal recruiter to understand hiring objectives and align sourcing strategies.

• Contribute to delivering a high-quality and holistic candidate experience.
• Use innovative sourcing techniques to attract top talent (e.g. networking, events, marketing, etc.).

Director

• Own the entire autonomy stack — Perception, Prediction, Planning, Controls, and Localization — end-to-end, technically and organizationally.
• Set and own the multi-year technical roadmap for the autonomy stack.
• Manage the autonomy team across all modules.
• Be the primary autonomy interface to Systems, Safety, Platform, Hardware, Simulation, and Product.
• Expected to be in design reviews, to push back on technical decisions with substance.

• Work with the Head of Safety and Head of Systems to:
• Design, analyze, and perform Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous vehicle system architecture
• Develop autonomous driving systems with cross-functional teams and construct the safety case that documents and defends the integrity of the solution
• Drive the creation, evolution, and deployment of dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous driving within the airport driving environment

• Define and monitor KPIs for data-driven engineering and system performance
