Systems Engineer

• Work with the Head of Safety and Head of Systems to:
• Design, analyze, and perform Verification & Validation (V&V) of autonomous vehicle system architecture
• Develop autonomous driving systems with cross-functional teams and construct the safety case that documents and defends the integrity of the solution
• Drive the creation, evolution, and deployment of dependable, safety-critical systems for autonomous driving within the airport driving environment

Senior Safety & Systems Engineer

Translator

• Take ownership of one or more core areas of the localization stack (LiDAR-inertial-GNSS state estimation, 3D mapping and map maintenance, or sensor calibration) and drive it to production reliability on real hardware at active airports
• Contribute across the broader localization and mapping pipeline from sensor integration, performance tuning, regression testing, and deployment to new operating environments
• Help design and build online validation that monitors localization integrity and cross-sensor consistency during live missions, detects drift, and integrates with the vehicle's safety architecture
• Develop tooling for diagnostics, health logging, and post-mission analysis across the stack
• Contribute to the regression, validation, and release-gating approach for localization changes deployed to active airports
• Deploy, test, and iterate using data from real autonomous operations

Senior Recruiter, Field Operations

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, build, and maintain custom Ubuntu/Linux distributions tailored for real‑time, safety‑critical autonomous vehicle workloads.
• Optimize and tune ROS 2 DDS middleware (e.g., Cyclone DDS, Fast DDS) for low‑latency, high‑throughput multi‑sensor data flows.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain kernel modules and user‑space drivers for LiDARs, cameras, radars, GNSS/INS, CAN, and other vehicle interfaces.
• Maintain and expand the network interfaces of the system.
• Implement observability and logging solutions to monitor system health, performance, and resource utilization in both lab and field deployments.
• Collaborate with autonomy, perception, and controls engineers to profile CPU/GPU usage and remove bottlenecks across the stack.

Product Designer

• Own the design vision and standards for the AGSE Service
• Establish the design principles, patterns, and component library that will scale across fleet operations products and customer-facing tools
• Define the standards for how AeroVect represents autonomy state, system confidence, and exceptions across all user-facing surfaces
• Partner with Engineering on front-end implementation standards to ensure design intent survives the build process
• Set the bar for design quality and review work across the product organization as it grows
• Lead hands-on design for Fleet Operations products
• Own end-to-end design for remote assistance, dispatch, and fleet monitoring tools - from discovery to high-fidelity execution
• Design for high-stakes, real-time operator workflows where information density, escalation handling, and decision latency directly impact safety and reliability
• Partner with the Fleet Operations Product Manager to translate operator and customer needs into intuitive, scalable interfaces
• Shape customer-facing experiences
• Design the airline and airport-facing surfaces of the AGSE Service, including operational dashboards, performance reporting, and SLA visibility tools
• Establish a coherent visual and interaction language across operator-facing and customer-facing products, while respecting their different contexts and constraints
• Partner with the Product, Commercial, and Operations teams to ensure customer-facing surfaces reflect the maturity and capability of the underlying service

Senior UX Designer

Robotics

• Create and maintain assembly and build documentation for our autonomous tractor platform, including step-by-step illustrated assembly instructions, wiring and harness guides, component installation procedures and torque and fastener specifications.
• Develop field servicing and maintenance documentation for use by deployment engineers and airport partner technicians, covering inspection procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, fault diagnosis guides and repair workflows.
• Write and maintain hardware bring-up and integration guides for internal engineering teams, including tractor commissioning procedures, sensor calibration workflows, and post-repair verification checklists.
• Produce operator-facing documentation including user manuals, quick-reference cards, safety notices and onboarding materials for airline and ground handling customers.
• Build and manage a documentation system that supports both internal and external audiences — establishing version control practices, document naming conventions, and a scalable structure as the fleet and product evolve.
• Work directly with hardware, software and field engineering teams to source technical content, review drafts for accuracy and keep documentation current as the product changes.
• Create visual aids including annotated diagrams, exploded views, and process flowcharts in collaboration with the hardware design team.
• Develop and maintain software-facing documentation where needed, including API references, configuration guides and internal runbooks for the autonomy and platform engineering teams.
• Own release notes and change documentation to communicate hardware and software updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Writer, Robotics

Field Engineer

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults across a fleet of autonomous electric tow tractors, including brake systems, steering actuators and encoders, drivetrain components and structural hardware.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on vehicle wiring harnesses, CAN bus systems, power distribution, connectors and embedded computing hardware.
• Repair or fabricate replacement components including brake lines, mounting brackets, sheet metal parts and custom wiring harnesses.
• Coordinate and execute Preventive Maintenance Inspections in partnership with airport GSE maintenance teams, completing pre- and post-PMI checklists and returning tractors to autonomous service.
• Troubleshoot sensor and perception hardware including wheel encoders, LiDAR, radar, cameras and vehicle displays.
• Triage incoming fleet bug tickets within SLA and maintain accurate repair logs, EOD hardware status summaries and parts usage records.
• Develop and refine hardware inspection checklists, labeling standards, and post-repair verification procedures.
• Partner with software and autonomy engineers to support tractor bring-up, stack validation and sensor calibration.
• Coordinate with procurement to manage local spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are stocked at the deployment site.
• Support new sensor integrations, vehicle upfit projects and hardware improvements in coordination with the broader hardware team.

Senior Hardware Field Engineer

DevOps Engineer

• Establish AeroVect's reliability engineering practice, including defining processes, metrics and tooling for tracking and improving fleet reliability from design through field deployment.
• Lead failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis (FTA) and reliability block diagram (RBD) activities across mechanical, electrical and embedded systems.
• Define and track reliability metrics including MTBF, MTTR and field failure rates; build dashboards and reporting structures to give engineering and leadership visibility into fleet health.
• Analyze field failure data from our deployed fleet to identify root causes, prioritize corrective actions, and close the loop between field observations and design improvements.
• Define and manage external reliability and environmental testing programs, including accelerated life testing, vibration and shock testing, thermal cycling and ingress protection validation, working with third-party test labs to execute.
• Partner with hardware engineers during the design phase to conduct design reviews with a reliability lens, provide DFR input, and identify failure risks before they reach production.
• Develop and maintain reliability requirements for new hardware programs and vehicle platforms, ensuring traceability from system requirements to component-level specifications.
• Support supplier qualification activities by defining reliability acceptance criteria and reviewing vendor test data and qualification reports.
• Build and maintain reliability documentation including test plans, analysis reports, reliability growth tracking and lessons-learned databases.
