About the role

  • Recruit and develop a world-class team of high-caliber enterprise account executives and managers
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of Aerospike’s products to provide guidance and mentoring on selling
  • Ensure effective and consistent pipeline generation and accurate forecasting
  • Implement, enable, and execute our value-based selling approach across a team of high-caliber Enterprise account executives
  • Collaborate and partner closely with cross-functional teams
  • Improve ongoing efforts to solidify and mature Aerospike’s repeatable sales processes and operations

Requirements

  • 12 + years of enterprise selling experience
  • 5+ years of leadership experience at a fast-paced, high-growth database software company
  • Experience selling Aerospike, Yugabyte, Cockroach, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Couchbase, MarkLogic, ScyllaDB etc
  • Significant experience and proven results selling into and navigating the complexities of an enterprise environment across multiple industries
  • Experience negotiating large 6- to 7-figure deals with extremely complex terms and conditions
  • Experience building geographically diverse Enterprise sales teams
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota in both an Individual Contributor (IC) and leadership capacity
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology
  • Experience evangelizing the benefits of Force Management, MEDDPICC, and comparable sales qualification frameworks
  • Ability to travel approximately 30-40% of the time.
