About the role

  • Lead, develop, and performance-manage the Repair Vendor Executive team.
  • Own the airframe repair vendor strategy, performance management, and cost control in line with AerFin’s 5-Year Plan.
  • Hold delegated repair order spend authority, acting as the first line of escalation for spend, pricing, and vendor decisions.
  • Own and drive repair order KPIs, including turnaround time, cost savings, data accuracy, and warranty recovery.
  • Lead vendor contracting, negotiation, consolidation, and renewal, including fixed-price agreements, volume rebates, consignment, and repair-and-hold arrangements.
  • Drive continuous improvement across RO processes, data quality, and system adoption, improving visibility, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Own vendor data integrity and capability management, ensuring accurate integration into vendor management systems to support optimal vendor selection and ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative vendor relationships while confidently managing escalations, disputes, and underperformance.
  • Provide market intelligence and commercial insight to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen, with proven experience negotiating and managing complex vendor contracts and commercial frameworks
  • Confident, credible leader with a track record of building, developing, and motivating high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of repair order and vendor management processes within aviation or similarly regulated environments
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and comfortable owning KPIs, spend authority, and performance outcomes
  • Excellent communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and external vendors
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with experience simplifying processes, improving data quality, and driving system adoption
  • Comfortable working with ERP and vendor management systems to support governance, control, and commercial decision-making
