About the role
- Coordinates and manages all resources necessary for the clinical staffing services staff to provide care
- Maintains an optimal level of productivity based on the coordination of efficient staffing and scheduling patterns and labor management standards
- Responsible for effectively managing resources through systems management
- Evaluates the quality of patient care provided by all clinical staffing services staff
- Responsible to ensure that appropriate resources are available for Performance Improvement initiatives in clinical staffing services
- Maintains unit/department in compliance with the Joint Commission on Accreditation, and other regulatory bodies
- Facilitates research-based nursing by creating an environment that encourages the utilization of research in practice
- Performs human resources responsibilities for staff which include interviewing and selection of new employees, promotions, staff development, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
- Typically requires 5 years of experience in nursing, including 1 year of supervisory experience in staff and budgets
- Strong aptitude in human resource management
- Ability to handle multiple demands simultaneously
- Current in use of computers, software, and other electronic systems
