About the role
- Practices in accordance with philosophy, policies, procedures and standards of AdventHealth for Children
- Functions within the guidelines of the protocols for the Transport program
- Identifies, plans, implements and evaluates emergency care for acutely ill neonatal and pediatric patients
- Provides family-centered care, including psychosocial support, education, and transfer planning
- Maintains effective communication with referral staff and families
- Participates in educating staff from referring facilities

- Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Protocol (NRP)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)
