About the role

  • Responsible for the full range of technical pre-sales support with a focus on optical transmission technology for Adtran sales in the DACH region
  • Together with the regional Solution Engineering teams and in close cooperation with Global Network Consulting and Product Line Management, you will handle the technical development of optical network solutions and the preparation of related proposals.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical proposals and designs for optical transport networks.
  • Design and deliver customer-specific presentations and workshops.
  • Support customer projects from the initial inquiry through to the final proposal phase.
  • Contribute to the further development of our products by actively providing customer feedback.

Requirements

  • You have successfully completed a degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
  • Independent, results-oriented way of working, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work in a team.
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to distill complex issues into practical solutions.
  • Initial experience in telecommunications and in planning optical networks with network operators, data centers and telecommunications equipment vendors is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel.
