About the role
- Support and build positive relationships with our product development teams
- Collaborate with our clients on the review of products, business strategies, and initiatives to assess legal compliance and provide practical advice
- Assist with product and feature launch processes, including technology release checklists and questionnaires
- Coordinate with subject matter leads in Adobe’s Legal Department, including privacy, antitrust, and intellectual property attorneys
- Stay on top of applicable legal and industry developments and provide information and guidance on relevant issues
- Assist with drafting and negotiating of all types of technology licensing and related documentation
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- 0-3 years of legal experience, with software and online services industry experience and/or a technical background a plus
- Familiarity with intellectual property agreements including in-bound and out-bound technology licenses and terms of use for online services
- Familiarity with privacy and data security issues and compliance
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to balance multiple projects at the same time; detail-oriented, efficient, thorough
