About the role
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced Engineering team
- Become an expert in the Lightroom Desktop application features
- Work closely with QE peers, Product Managers, Engineers and Designers in defining and developing features
- Define quality standards and build a cohesive strategy for testing Lightroom features
- Perform functional and workflow testing, including end-to-end testing as part of the Lightroom ecosystem
- Help the team increase its skills by supporting others via mentoring
- Monitor releases, logging, and analytics of owned features
- Implement plans for defining and improving quality metrics
- Work with the team to drive software quality and delivery process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience testing consumer software through full release cycles
- Mastery in manual exploratory testing of sophisticated software products
- Mastery in the creation and documentation of software testing strategies
- Expertise with agile software development methodologies
- Experience with testing desktop apps on both Mac and Win and cross-product workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
