About the role
- As a Senior PM you will be the strategic driver of transformation programs, owning complex workstreams, engaging with senior stakeholders, and ensuring clarity and direction amid shifting priorities.
- You will combine structured project management with clear change leadership to deliver solutions that improve operational excellence, reduce risk, and improve quality performance across Vestas.
- Oversee large, complex transformation programs that span multiple functions and regions, and ensure strategic alignment by working closely with senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Develop robust program structures, including governance, milestones, risk management, and reporting frameworks, and own program planning, scope definition, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
- Ensure a clear change management focus, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, and adoption activities.
- Facilitate decision‑making forums, steering committees, and cross‑functional workshops, and promote collaboration across the value chain to ensure alignment and delivery against program goals.
- Track program performance, spot risks early, and lead mitigation and recovery efforts.
- Prepare high‑quality presentations and insights for executive stakeholders.
- Coach and guide project teams and junior PMs to ensure structured execution and continuous development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in project or program management in a global organisation
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional transformation programs
- Advanced skills in project management methodologies, tools, governance structures, Quality Management Systems and operational excellence principles
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and some experience with PM tools
- Fluency in English.
