About the role

  • Face customers jointly throughout the entire sales process
  • Engage in strategic relationship building with customers and stakeholders
  • Head negotiations including all commercial contract aspects
  • Direct the commercial parts responsible for bidding and contracting strategy
  • Mentor junior members and onboarding new Sales Managers
  • Own customer dialogue throughout the complete sales process
  • Act as a role model internally and externally
  • Know the Vestas sales process and sales tools in-depth.
  • Owner/project manager of strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience on the commercial side in negotiation of large complex projects
  • Significant understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products
  • Experience with long-term sales processes
  • Bachelor's degree, master's preferred
  • Significant level of professional and project management experience from within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure or construction industry.
  • Ability to effectively deliver results under complex varying conditions.
  • Advanced communication skills and a questioning mindset.
  • Ability to persuade internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization.
  • Advanced financial understanding and investigative capabilities, including value engineering
  • Ability to work in time-sensitive environments.
  • Comfortable to have discussions with C-Level contacts.
