About the role
- Face customers jointly throughout the entire sales process
- Engage in strategic relationship building with customers and stakeholders
- Head negotiations including all commercial contract aspects
- Direct the commercial parts responsible for bidding and contracting strategy
- Mentor junior members and onboarding new Sales Managers
- Own customer dialogue throughout the complete sales process
- Act as a role model internally and externally
- Know the Vestas sales process and sales tools in-depth.
- Owner/project manager of strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience on the commercial side in negotiation of large complex projects
- Significant understanding of the commercial aspects of complex products
- Experience with long-term sales processes
- Bachelor's degree, master's preferred
- Significant level of professional and project management experience from within wind energy, power plants, infrastructure or construction industry.
- Ability to effectively deliver results under complex varying conditions.
- Advanced communication skills and a questioning mindset.
- Ability to persuade internal stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization.
- Advanced financial understanding and investigative capabilities, including value engineering
- Ability to work in time-sensitive environments.
- Comfortable to have discussions with C-Level contacts.
