About the role

  • Manage tenders (RFPs) and qualify sales leads for transactions related to wind turbine equipment.
  • This includes identifying prospects, developing customer relationships, directly selling Vestas technologies, and assessing business opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the North American energy markets, customers’ business models, and Vestas products and services, in order to propose value-creating commercial offers.
  • Lead a team dedicated to contract closing, composed of bid managers, engineers, commercial project managers, legal counsel and other specialists.
  • Use the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track accounts, develop business opportunities, manage customer data and forecast pipeline progression.
  • Negotiate contractual agreements with customers, including — without limitation — pricing, commercial terms and conditions, and aspects related to project construction.

Requirements

  • Fluent French.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in one or more of the following sales-related areas: technical sales, commercial client communications, contract negotiation, or legal experience.
  • Experience selling power generation equipment or heavy industrial equipment is an asset.
  • Practical knowledge of power generation projects.
  • Flexibility to travel as required by the business (up to 30%).
