About the role
- Scan & interpret regulations, tenders, grid codes & market rules across priority & bet markets; produce concise briefs & clear “what it means” call outs
- Support tenders & deal cycles with early clarity on regulatory requirements, risks, & timing implications
- Draft internal policy content (guidance notes, commentary, background packs) for teams involved in government linked processes
- Maintain one source of truth on regulatory frameworks & changes; ensure alignment across Strategy/MI, Sales & Commercial Development
- Surface risks & opportunities that affect competitiveness, offer shaping, & strategic bets
- Ensure consistent understanding of policy developments in organisation
- Provide a single, reliable source of policy interpretation across APAC
- Reduce rework & accelerate decisions in bids & market planning
- Lift tender readiness & compliance clarity earlier in the cycle
- Strengthen our market intelligence foundation as APAC policy evolves
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Public Policy, Economics, Law, Political Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s a plus)
- 3–5 years in regulatory analysis, policy research, energy markets, or consulting; renewables/power market exposure is a plus
- Experience in renewable energy, power markets, infrastructure, or large scale industrial policy and/or with Government/Regulatory Stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex regulation into structured, actionable insights for commercial & strategy audiences
- Strong writing & presentation skills; comfortable with short, sharp briefs
- Collaborative, organized, & calm under changing timelines across multiple markets
