About the role
- Join the global leader in sustainable energy solutions as a Project Development Manager
- Driving wind energy projects from concept to financial close across Australia
- Managing wind farm developments
- Work across land agreements, environmental permitting, grid connection, stakeholder engagement, and financial modelling
- Leading the development of a wind farm development project
- Managing all aspects of the wind farm development, from finalising project design to preparation of the development approval
- Identifying, engaging and managing environmental and technical consultants, legal advisors and other service providers
- Building relationships with host landowners and lead negotiation and execution of licence, option, and easement agreements
- Engaging with local, state and federal permitting authorities to secure permits
- Liaising with NSPs, AEMO, consultants and internal teams for grid connection processes
- Assisting with community engagement through events and presentation to stakeholders
Requirements
- Technical, engineering or business degree background
- Experience in wind farm project development
- Demonstrated experience with commercial contracting and negotiation
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with people
- Positive, outgoing personality
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
- Project development, commercial negotiation or project management
