About the role

  • Join the global leader in sustainable energy solutions as a Project Development Manager
  • Driving wind energy projects from concept to financial close across Australia
  • Managing wind farm developments
  • Work across land agreements, environmental permitting, grid connection, stakeholder engagement, and financial modelling
  • Leading the development of a wind farm development project
  • Managing all aspects of the wind farm development, from finalising project design to preparation of the development approval
  • Identifying, engaging and managing environmental and technical consultants, legal advisors and other service providers
  • Building relationships with host landowners and lead negotiation and execution of licence, option, and easement agreements
  • Engaging with local, state and federal permitting authorities to secure permits
  • Liaising with NSPs, AEMO, consultants and internal teams for grid connection processes
  • Assisting with community engagement through events and presentation to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Technical, engineering or business degree background
  • Experience in wind farm project development
  • Demonstrated experience with commercial contracting and negotiation
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships with people
  • Positive, outgoing personality
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion
  • Project development, commercial negotiation or project management
