About the role

  • Lead the Service division in France
  • Ensure integrity and compliance with Vestas’ Code of Conduct
  • Promote and enforce the highest safety and quality standards across the department; foster a safety-first culture and provide the organization with the tools, training and guidance required to work safely and deliver quality
  • Own the P&L in line with the budget; drive ongoing cost-reduction initiatives; provide regular reports to the region, including risks and opportunities
  • Ensure, through Customer Management, that services are delivered in accordance with contractual terms agreed with customers, and manage the claims process when necessary
  • Support Service Sales and Turbine Sales teams by providing recommendations to optimize Vestas’ competitiveness
  • Contribute to business development by anticipating growth, optimizing territorial footprint, ensuring adoption of group-defined tools and processes, and working closely with HR to meet recruitment plans
  • Manage the country’s Operations Managers and Contract Managers, while promoting their professional development
  • Communicate effectively, as required, with key external stakeholders: authorities, experts, insurers, etc.

Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or business; MBA preferred
  • Strong experience managing service/maintenance operations in a major infrastructure environment
  • Experience managing complex service contracts
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L management
  • Strong negotiation skills with key stakeholders such as customers and subcontractors
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement short- and long-term strategic objectives
  • Proven leadership with the ability to create a collaborative work environment, motivate, coach and coordinate team development and performance
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact effectively with a wide range of units across a global organization
  • Professional judgment and high level of integrity
  • Ability to make decisions that balance risk management and business objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Ability to build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, prioritize competing urgent issues and allocate resources for optimal results.
