About the role
- Guide the product and brand strategy for key categories within Champs Sports
- Collaborate with merchandising, retail activation, and cross‑functional partners to deliver profitable, sustainable growth
- Use business acumen and retail math expertise to manage top‑ and bottom‑line results and identify opportunities to strengthen account performance
- Build data‑based sales plans aligned to brand direction, category goals, and buyer insights to support long‑term success
- Partner with marketing, retail activation, and merchandising teams to deliver programs that support strong consumer engagement and sell‑through
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with internal and external partners to ensure aligned execution, communication, and business planning
- Deliver accurate reporting and forecasting, resolve compliance and credit issues, and manage account‑related processes with consistency and clarity
Requirements
- Four‑year degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
- Minimum of eight years of field sales experience, ideally with key accounts in consumer goods or sporting goods
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent
- Ability to lift and carry samples up to 25 lbs
