About the role

Supports the operations leadership team by contributing to labor allocation, leading meetings, assigning job duties, coaching for success
Collaborate with Operation Supervisor to lead a team of up to 50 hourly associates
Utilize warehouse tools, including radio frequency hand held units (“RF Guns”) and computer kiosks, to update transactions within the warehouse management system (WMS)
Train and coach associates to achieve all operational goals and service levels
Mentor and develop teammates to perform better in their current roles while preparing them for future career opportunities
Help to foster a positive team environment that encourages all associates to provide insights and feedback to improve processes
Contribute to maintaining a safe and orderly working environment
Identify, report, and follow up on any property damage or safety concerns

High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Minimum of two (2) years related distribution experience and/or training
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Strong knowledge of DC operations, including storage methods and material flow
Regularly required to talk or hear; stand or walk; use fingers, hands and arms to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, push and pull for up to ten (10) hours/day
Ability to work in a warehouse environment
Ability to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
