About the role
- Conduct and execute long-term tactical plans for assigned adidas stores in line with global and local strategic plans and guidelines.
- Define yearly marketing activation priorities, KPIs, budgets and calendars based on global and European activation toolkits while leveraging local opportunities such as partners, holidays, tourism periods and local sports moments.
- Create seasonal account marketing plans, integrating digital channels and CRM (adiclub) to connect offline and online initiatives and increase sell-through, traffic and conversion.
- Implement marketing activities for assigned stores, including product launches and store events, ensuring flawless and consumer-relevant execution across all store touchpoints in alignment with Visual Merchandising.
- Develop hyper-local campaign executions that deliver an exciting and seamless consumer experience across windows, digital tools, launch zones and category lead-ins.
- Leverage existing communities such as adidas Runners, as well as entertainment, influencer and sports marketing partners to amplify store activation plans.
- Develop and execute local activation plans for new concept store and factory outlet openings, store relocations and store anniversaries.
- Prepare briefs and manage local and global agencies for trade tools, activation and media plans, in line with brand communication guidelines and internal non-trade procurement procedures.
- Collaborate closely with retail sales teams to proactively assess performance issues and develop tactical retail marketing solutions to address traffic or conversion challenges.
- Monitor marketplace activity and campaign performance, evaluate return on investment, manage the assigned marketing budget and ensure campaigns positively impact store profitability.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of the full marketing mix, including advertising, events, sponsorship, retail and digital marketing, ideally within the sporting goods industry.
- Proven experience in consumer-centric marketing with a strong understanding of the consumer journey.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong budget management capability and understanding of retail KPIs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Creative, innovative mindset with confidence to present ideas to senior stakeholders.
- University degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, with 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience in an international context.
