About the role
- Provides input to and participates in the design of adidas group mid-term strategies in relation to regional retail expansion for both FRS and Own Retail in North & West.
- Develops with Retail Expansion Director an West & North Retail Expansion Plan which reflects distribution, marketing and geographic strategies.
- Proactively seeks right location of new POS opportunities by building strong real estate network in the region and negotiating with relevant parties.
- Consistently improve the location and space of existing shops inside department stores and shopping malls by building up a strong network with management of these channels.
- Regularly update the West & North retail expansion plan.
- Manage the yearly & quarterly retail expansion plan being well implemented.
- Manage department stores and shopping malls in a systematic way.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in retail expansion and related discipline is preferred
- Above 8 years’ experience in retail expansion and related environment for multi-national consumer brand or retail company
- IT skills: Outlook – basic, Word – advanced, Excel – advanced, PowerPoint – advanced, Business Objects – basic
- Language skills: English (written and spoken). Mandarin Chinese as native language preferred
