About the role
- Responsible for supporting the continuous quality improvement and the coordination of Facilities Management at the adidas locations in Greater China
- Manage the full lifecycle of assets, including planning for maintenance, repairs, and capital replacement.
- Develop and enforce technical standards and maintenance procedures.
- Leverage Building Management Systems (BMS) and IoT technology and facility data to analyze equipment performance.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency across all facility operations.
- Manage annual operational (OPEX) and capital (CAPEX) budgets.
- Lead and manage outsourced small projects such as moves, equipment retrofits, office partial renovations, facility repairs from initiation to handover.
- Ensure full compliance with local PRC regulations regarding building codes, fire safety, environmental health & safety (EHS), and special equipment inspections.
- Lead the site’s risk prevention program; update, manage, and drill Emergency Response Plans (ERP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP) regularly.
- Manage external on-site service providers (Hard & Soft services) with a focus on technical delivery.
- Champion energy management programs to support adidas’ global carbon neutrality goals.
- Act as the primary interface and work place partner for internal departments.
- Proactively gather requirements and communicate feasible technical solutions.
- Continuously review and optimize FM workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Degree related to Engineering, Facility Management or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in respective area with a focus on technical operations, engineering, and project management
- PMP, Certified HVAC/MEP Engineer, or CFM are highly desirable.
- Deep knowledge of building systems (MEP, HVAC, Electrical) and facility maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings (CAD) and specifications.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across departments.
- Strong acumen in budgeting and cost control.
- Proven ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive them to results.
- Strong familiarity with local PRC safety regulations, fire codes, and environmental standards.
- Fluent in English and local language(s).
