About the role
- Lead the data validation process end-to-end with the client and internal project teams
- Hold recurring training and working sessions with clients throughout the data validation project until completion
- Support clients with researching and identifying portfolio data performance discrepancies and make recommendations to fix data issues
- Review, compare, and document system calculation methodology differences
- Coordinate across project teams, communicating regular status updates and effectively setting expectations
- Raise key issues to project team members and senior leadership
- Prioritize and context-switch to complete simultaneous projects and see each through to completion
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve current processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and automation
Requirements
- B.S in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or Economics
- 2+ years experience working in Finance and Technology
- Strong understanding of financial portfolio data
- Motivation to work on data problems and deliver results to project deadlines while meeting high-quality standards
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to hold training and working sessions with clients
- Ability to research and identify portfolio data performance discrepancies and recommend fixes
- Ability to review, compare, and document system calculation methodology differences
- Coordinate across project teams and communicate regular status updates
- Prioritize and context-switch effectively to complete simultaneous projects
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and tools to increase efficiency and automation
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, proactive and a high contributing teammate
- Independent, adaptable, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Experience programming in Python is a plus
